Noah is in a class right now that is going on a four day excursion through the mountains to go do some avalanche training. This means that yet again, he leaves before I do. 

So tonight we’re going out just the two of us. Which makes this two nights in a row. We went up to Whistler for dinner last night, and then came back down to drop in on a party and say hi to hunter. Hunter was so wasted that his reaction to seeing me was “What the fuck are you doing here?” and not in a nice way. Then he put his hands up and said “Ai caint handull thees shiiiit right now.” and gave me a really big hug and told me to go away.

Most of the people I’ve surprised have had ridiculously nice reactions. Some of them have almost started to cry, most of them have screamed, and a fair bit have picked me up and spun me around. What sucks is people I absolutely do not like have been doing it too.

I’m happy I’m here and yet also super bummed, this is probably the last time I’ll see noah for at least a year. He’ll be goldmining all summer, and then he’s doing his fall semester in London, which unless I suddenly become rich I cant make a trip to.
