I feel
very strange about being in the office building of a major oil corporation. I don’t know how else to describe what it’s doing to me. It’s daunting, and dirty almost. Like something is wrong, and at the same time it is full of beautiful native art, and pointers on how to be a good person.

I am more than willing to admit that I am scared of everything. And a lot of the time I am scared about things for reasons that don’t make sense.
But I have to say that it is pretty incredible that the day after I get to the east coast of Australia I might be rocked by one of those things that scares me most. A natural disaster.

LAX to Brisbane
I made it just fine, although the airport went through my bag.
I’ll admit I was freaking out needlessly, but it got me through everything.

I think the scariest thing about flying to Australia is that on February 26th, I won’t exist in the world. I will go straight from the 25th to the 27th.
And I think maybe I’m focusing on this because it is the least of my overall worries, I have gotten stuck in airports and missed flights on multiple occasions, with nowhere to stay for the night. And I can handle that, I can handle...
